I built a website that shows people a random duck every day.
It's called Duck of the Day (duck.dizydiz.com). Every visit serves up a different duck photo. There's a "Gimme a Different Duck" button and an "Emergency Quack" button for when you really need one.
Why? Because sometimes the best projects are the ones that make people smile.
It's become one of the most visited things I've ever built. (mostly by me). People (me) send it to their coworkers. Someone's kid made it their homepage. A duck website.
The technical lesson: infrastructure doesn't care what it's serving. The same Docker, networking, and monitoring stack that runs my AI agents also serves ducks. Build the platform right and everything else is just content.

SEASONAL ROADMAP (coming to a phone near you): for the two weeks before Thanksgiving, the duck steps aside for TURKEY OF THE DAY - turkey pics, turkey facts, turkey jokes - then reverts the morning after. And for the two weeks before Christmas, the pond gets festive with PENGUINS and REINDEER taking over the daily picture, fact, and joke duties. Same subscribers, same 8 AM delivery, zero effort required - the system flips themes by calendar and flips back on its own.
